Last Friday, I had the distinct pleasure of spending the afternoon (and evening!) at the Dogfish Head Brewery and Restaurant in Rehobeth, DE. One of the highlights was trying their brand new offering straight off the tap- ROBERT JOHNSON Hellhounds on my Ale. Much like it’s predecessor of specialty musical tribute brews in collaboration with Sony Music(Miles Davis-BITCHES BREW), the folks at Dogfish have crafted yet another “must sample”! HELLHOUNDS ON MY ALE is hoppy. Not just a little bit hoppy. We are talking HOP-a-MANIA. If you like hoppy beers, you need to RUN to the nearest booze shop and pick this up. It’s going to be limited edition, so be ready to snatch it up when it shows up. It goes down smooth, has a dark, brooding overtone (just like Robert Johnson’s classic music), and leaves you wanting more. This lemon-infused pint of pale ale goodness and hop overload make for a lip-smacking good time. Oh yeah, and it’s 10% ABV. The blues never made you feel so good!
